Purpose

We understand that supporting a sibling or family member with Ring 22 syndrome comes with profound emotional and financial challenges. The journey of caregiving, advocacy, and unwavering support requires immense dedication, resilience, and love. Often, these responsibilities can place added strain on a student’s education and future aspirations.

At the Alec 22 Scholarship Foundation, we believe that every act of support—whether through caregiving, emotional encouragement, or simply being present—deserves recognition. A scholarship, no matter the amount, is more than just financial assistance; it is a symbol of appreciation for the commitment and sacrifices made by those who put their loved ones first. Through this initiative, we aim to honor and uplift students who balance their academic goals while standing by their families, ensuring that they, too, have the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
